Initial reports state that 3 aid workers contracted by the UN (from two different agencies), all Nigerian nationals, were killed in the attack. One nurse, a third party contractor to a UN agency, was kidnapped. Two midwives, both female aid workers and supported by an INGO, were also kidnapped by the militant group.
